About the Event
This month's session is provided every Wednesday evening from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm EST (please check your time zone if it's different from Ontario as I'm based in Ottawa).
The focus for each week includes and is not limited to the following:
1. Letting go
2. Opening up
3. Vision - a resetting of perspective
4. Expanding for more
My training to become a practitioner began in the spring of 2008 with Wendy Lavigne of Ottawa, Ontario. I have been sharing Usui Reiki since this time in various ways with clients, family, and animals too. I was attuned to the Usui Holy Fire Reiki III in June 2019 training in Fredericton, New Brunswick with Pam Allen Leblanc.
What is Reiki?
Energy healing has been used for centuries in various forms. It works with the energy fields throughout the body. Science is what really intrigued me. The effect of Reiki sets the body back to a set point, reducing inflammation.
How does it work?
I'm attuned to connect to the energy, the Universal Life source energy which is then relayed to the client and group.
The word “Reiki” means “mysterious atmosphere, miraculous sign.” It comes from the Japanese words “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life energy). Reiki is a type of energy healing.
Who can join? Clients of all ages and backgrounds have joined these sessions including animals.
What is it like? Many clients tend to fall asleep during the session. Sleep is one of the many examples of how Reiki helps the mind and body to slow down, relax, and move toward a calm and resting state. This is where every part of the body (emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical) can have time to renew, recover and experience forms of healing.
What can I expect? Some clients have felt warming and cooling sensations throughout the body, better sleep, the ability to cope in stressful situations, relief from overwhelm and anxiety, greater intuitive awareness, reduced physical pain, and much more.

This is for everyone of all ages. - The monthly group is for the whole household to help support your family, pets included.
