A forest of trees in the autumn bloom. By Wix Medi

This month invites you into a season of deep reflection and renewal. As the leaves turn and the air cools, you’re reminded of the beauty in letting go, trusting cycles, and welcoming transformation. October’s insights will guide you on where to soften, where to stand firm, and how to align with the clarity this season naturally offers.

Hello to October!

Last week I talked about reading as a source to set your imagination on fire

and in doing so you cultivate a stronger link to intuition and the intuitions that pop in, fade in, and stream through your beingness.

As I witness the landscape of Ottawa and our neighborhood transform I'm in awe of how nature can paint our world with such beauty.

Our maple trees behind the house now touched by reds, oranges and hints of yellow. Gorgeous! And to think that each tree will never repeat this color scheme again is mind blowing to say the least.

Nature is a great source of intuitive inspiration, and where ideas can bloom when given the opportunity.

I'm reminded of the dance of colors during my visit to the Zion National Park in June, a great reminder that nature is magical often mirroring to us what we need.

Nature gives us the blueprint to follow, to honor the cycles

Of rest, bloom, release and retreat.

Nature reminds us to ignore the belief that we need to be consistently 'ON'.

This is far from normal. Pushing, pressing, forcing without pause is

not normal.

Everything has a season, a reason, a time.

Speaking of time... The words keep repeating.

It’s time to “Fall back into yourself again.”

It’s a time to appreciate you and all your efforts so far and to reflect.

To reflect on what worked, what didn’t.

What to keep, adjust, change or let go.

To give thanks for all sorts of abundance that arrived over time—whether material, emotional, mental, physical or spiritual.

Perhaps a new opportunity, a deep conversation, a new class,

a new friend, community, or a new song on repeat.

This leads me to the monthly oracle. That's what I feel called to name it today.

Christie’s October Oracle

A deep dive into your personal possibility and potential

You are your life’s greatest project. To explore, to find meaning in why you are here is life’s call to adventure, to wonder, and wander with freedom.

Thoughts do form reality. Mind the mind give yourself the gift of grace.

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot; it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” - Bruce Lee

The month of October is a time for new action without much knowledge, you may even feel a bit restless, new ideas beginning to arrive out of the blue. The mind is the greatest place for intuition to play, to listen to music, to create through any artistic form, even color outside the lines. A time to care for yourself as you do others, with love, honor and respect.

Be pioneering, try something new (see list below). Be authentically you. Mind how you communicate with others and hold to those clear boundaries of honoring yourself. This is a time of self-discovery, raising confidence and appreciation for your skillset.

In numerology, the story of numbers can be quite profound and interesting.

The month of October is made up of two numbers, the number ‘one’ and ‘zero’ or the number ‘ten’ (10)

Look at the Number ‘One’:

Its expression is about individuality, self-leadership, new beginnings, a fresh start, good at beginning/finish projects, take up that skill you keep putting off. Step up and be first, to share an opinion, be the first to use the words sorry, I forgive and be open to not getting caught up in old viewpoints/beliefs, to be first to let go Be kind, be kind, open a door because kindness and courage is infectious. Honor those first intuitions, let them ride with love, value, and respect.

The number ‘Zero’ has a rather strong expression.

It’s a challenging number, indicating a need to remain open and use intuition to find insight. You’ll need to stop and explore for a moment how your intuition has served you in the past. When did you listen to it, and when did you lack trust, waving it away only to realize it was right.

The zero calls you into the unknow with courage, there are lessons in facing the unknown, perhaps using my favorite words, “I wonder what’s around the corner?” Be open to saying “YES” to yourself rather than hiding in isolation or what’s familiar (get out of the comfort of your comfort zone).

Let go of controlling, or the need to control, to prove wrong or what is right. Don’t waste energy on the past where nothing can change. Use my favorite a friend shared with me yesterday, “I release, forgive and send love.”

Here’s a book: The Unmistakeable Touch of Grace

Here’s a song: The Album For the Young - Tchaikovsky

Here’s a poem: Autumn by Grace Pale

Here’s a challenge for you too: The 100-days, the art of noticing (Notice TREES this month. Notice every part of a tree from the tips of its top to where the roots may go. Imagine where they go, what they touch and the air they purify. All for us… (Thank you Janet for this idea)

Here’s a class to explore: Dive into Intuition through Remote Viewing (Beginner class)

Here’s a meditation: The Turtle Spirit

Color your world with moments of beauty, experiences, kindness,

and people who lift you up.

I encourage you to explore new and different communities.

That's where your potential expands in more ways than you can imagine.

Here's to October.

Here's to new beginnings, and...

watch for the numbers that repeat

around you.
